The Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) Center for Global Affairs and Science Engagement (GASE) held an international cooperation research symposium in Taipei, Taiwan. The goal of this event is to highlight the revolutionary science and technology research developments from MOST funded Principal Investigators (PIs) and their overseas Co-Principal Investigators (CoPIs). The symposium also seeks to strengthen academic exchange between Taiwan and our global partners.A one-day symposium featuring high-level academic discussion on the latest science and technology research findings with leading experts and scholars from North America and Asia Pacific regions.

The cooperation countries for the Research Symposium include Japan, South Korea, the United States, Canada, the Philippines, Mongolia, etc. With a variety of research topics, including green energy smart transportation, water quality monitoring technology in reservoirs and catchments area, establishment of marine fish gene pools, and bacterial decomposition of environmental hormone "nonyl phenol".
